About the South Dade Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is our intermediate band ensemble. This group includes members of varying degrees of experience and are mostly 2nd through 4th-year performers. The Symphonic band performs at the Florida Bandmasters Association Concert Band music performance Assessment every year along with the 4 other concerts held at the school every year. Students are often encouraged to participate in the Florida Bandmasters Association Solo and Ensemble festival as well as various county honor bands.
